Nina Sivachenko was born on April 1, 1962. She began her violin lessons at age of 7.

She graduated from the Lysenko music school and entered the National Academy of Music of Ukraine.  She entered the class of the famous Ukrainian violinist Alexis Gorohov and completed the postgraduate course under his guidance. Nina Sivachenko has been giving concerts since her student days. She has a large solo repertoire, chamber music, from baroque to modern music. 

Among the musical compositions performed by Nina Sivachenko can be mentioned Bach’s sonatas and partitas, Paganini’s caprices, solo pieces of Ukrainian composers. The violinist played with the chamber orchestra “ARCHI”, the chamber orchestra of the Academy students, the Ukrainian national symphony orchestra, the symphony orchestra of the National Radio and also with the National ensemble of classical music named by B.Liatoshinsky, concertos Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Thaikovsky, Glasunov and Kolodub.  In duo with her permanent pianist, Laureate of the International Competition T.Yushko, they performed a cycle of sonatas by Brahms, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Strauss and many pieces by Ukrainian composers: Kosenko, Ishenko, Skorik, Silvestrov and others. Nina Sivachenko has records on Ukrainian radio, TV and CD.

She is one of the founders of the Kiev chamber orchestra “ARCHI” and the Kiev chamber quartet “ARCHI”. She is also the first violinist and soloist of this orchestra.

Sivachenko promotes Ukrainian violin music. Pieces for solo violin, sonata no. 4 written by Ukrainian composers Ishenko and also the duet for two violins written by Scherbakov were dedicated to her.

Nina Sivachenko participates in international festivals, as a guest to give masterclasses and also as a jury for competitions.

A violinist is distinguished by great expressiveness, beauty of sound, brightness of temperament and unusual approach to interpretation.

Currently, Nina Sivachenko teaches at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine.
